WEC Is Heading to WaterJAM 2026 in Virginia Beach

Wood Equipment Company is gearing up for one of the biggest events on the municipal water calendar. This September, our team will be at WaterJAM 2026, taking place at the Virginia Beach Convention Center from September 14 through September 17. WaterJAM is the joint annual meeting of the Virginia Water Environment Association and the Virginia Section of the American Water Works Association, bringing together water and wastewater professionals from across the state and beyond for four days of technical sessions, workshops, and an exhibit hall full of the latest industry innovations.

For WEC, WaterJAM is more than a trade show. It is a chance to sit down face to face with the utility operators, engineers, and municipal decision makers who rely on dependable pumping and liquid handling equipment every single day. Whether you manage a drinking water treatment plant, run a wastewater collection system, or oversee capital projects for a municipality, this is the kind of event where the conversations in the aisles are often just as valuable as the sessions themselves.

Why Municipal Water Professionals Should Stop By

With over 75 years in the pump and liquid handling business, WEC has built deep expertise in the systems that keep water and wastewater infrastructure running reliably. We work with municipalities on everything from lift station upgrades and duplex pump station installations to custom fabricated skids and control panels built with VFDs, HMIs, and SCADA integration. As an authorized distributor for brands including Viking Pump, NETZSCH, Aurora, Sulzer, Hydromatic, and American Marsh under Wilo, we bring a wide range of proven solutions to the table rather than a one size fits all product line.

We also understand that municipal budgets and procurement processes come with their own set of requirements. WEC holds Virginia SWaM certification along with SBA SDVOSB and VOSB designations, which can be a meaningful advantage for agencies with supplier diversity goals or federal procurement considerations. If your organization is evaluating vendors for an upcoming project, this is worth asking us about directly at the show.

What to Expect at Our Booth

Our team will be on hand throughout the event to talk through real world applications, not just product specs. If you are dealing with cavitation issues, evaluating corrosion resistant pump materials for a harsh chemical environment, or simply trying to figure out whether your current system is sized correctly for where your facility is headed, bring your questions. We would rather have a substantive conversation about your specific challenge than hand you a brochure and move on to the next person.

We will also have information available on our full service repair shop capabilities for teams looking to extend the life of existing equipment rather than replace it outright, along with details on how our engineering support works for custom skid and control panel projects.

Save the Date

WaterJAM 2026 runs September 14 through 17 at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. If you are planning to attend, we would love to connect. And if you have not registered yet, information is available directly through the Virginia Section AWWA and Virginia Water Environment Association event pages.

Stop by and see us. Whether you are troubleshooting a pump problem right now or just want to talk shop about where municipal water infrastructure is headed, our team is looking forward to the conversation.
